Boarding
Indoor board includes:
- Quality hay analyzed twice a year, 1st and 2nd cut;
- 3 meals per day, free-choice hay, fed through Nagbag slow feeders during group turnout, supper is served in the stall using a slow feeder hay net;
- Vitamins, alfalfa pellets, and grain included once or twice a day (Blue Seal and Purina);
- Rain and winter blanketing included depending on the season as per established guidelines;
- Fly spray and fly mask application included during the summer;
- Application of boots or protective gear included;
- Stalls cleaned daily with dust-free shavings;
- At least 6-8 hours of daily turnout.
Outdoor board includes:
- Quality hay analyzed twice a year, free-choice through Nagbag slow feeders;
- Horses MUST live with others in a group;
- Vitamins, alfalfa pellets, and grain included once or twice a day (Blue Seal and Purina);
- Access to shelter, heated waterer during the winter;
- Full-time access to the stables and other facilities;
- Annual follow-up with an equine nutritionist;
- 24/7 surveillance, owners, and veterinary technician live on the premises;
- Property-wide security cameras;
- We will blanket your horse during more extreme weather conditions*.
Conditions:
Only Avalon instructors/coaches may give lessons or training. Every year we offer occasional clinics at our stables by European coaches. You must use our services to board at our facility. Freestyle Walker packages available for three sessions per week.
